Welcome to Calvary Chapel Children’s Ministry where we teach children to: KNOW, OBEY, AND DEFEND GOD’S WORD.
Our team takes seriously the opportunity we have to come along side parents in teaching the Bible to their children. We believe when a child learns the Bible at an early age it will never leave them. They may walk away from faith but faith will never leave them. They can always come back once they have learned God’s Word.
We have classes at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning for all children (0 – 5th grade).
“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
Your First Visit
Please come 10 minutes early to get your children signed into Lambs List. One of our volunteers will direct you to the classroom where you will pick your child up.
Our Team will make sure your young child is well cared for by loving and background screened servants. We will help you in moving your child from the nursery to the toddler room at the best time, usually around 18 months.
2nd – 5th Grade
Children in Second grade through Fifth grade are learning to navigate their Bibles by doing an inductive study. They will start in Matthew and work their way through the New Testament.
Students are promoted to the next class in July.
Our Uniquely Special Ministry, located in the Little House on the East side of the church property, is for children who benefit in an environment with fewer distractions and may require a shadow. We love to have your child and are excited to have a place for them where they can feel comfortable and not be overly stimulated. We have a family profile form for you to fill out so that we can meet the specific needs of your child. See the Uniquely Special page for more information.

For the holidays in November, this Program is designed to help children understand the emotions they may be experiencing and help in expressing them due to the loss of a loved one.
Volunteer Experiences in Children’s Ministry
We believe serving in ministry is a privilege and an important part of being a part of the fellowship. We believe every Christian is given Spiritual Gifts and talents to use in serving.
In order to provide a secure environment, we require a background check, references and orientation for everyone prior to serving.
After you attend our fellowship for 6 months you can pick up the ministry application at the Plugged-In counter in the church lobby. You will be contacted by our volunteer coordinator, Cheryl McAlister, to help determine the best place for you to serve based on your gifts.
