A Wonderful Ministry

As a ministry, we reach out to people in times of health crisis to provide hope, joy, encouragement, and love. No one should walk alone during challenging times, and our Ambassadors of Hope are happy to provide both support and fellowship. We will be a companion - someone they can trust and confide in as we help ease the burdens that may exist.
We, the members of Calvary Ambassadors of Hope, desire to glorify Jesus Christ, as we minister to those who may be suffering with health complications. As a ministry of faith representing Christ, we will minister and offer our services while honoring and serving Him, no matter where the person may be in their relationship with Jesus.
Our Mission Statement:
"Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in Hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit."
- Romans 15:13

What our Ministry Does

We Listen and Understand

We will listen and strive to understand the story of each person seeking our assistance, so we can better assist in easing their suffering while offering hope and encouragement.

We Will be a Witness

We will provide a witness and an opportunity to be heard. We know how lonely people can feel when there is suffering. Therefore, we want to share the love and fellowship of Jesus Christ to let them know they are never alone.

We Minister to People's Needs

We minister to people where and when best suits their needs, whether it is mental, physical, or spiritual. We will be there for prayer and fellowship. Our ministry offers support in helping people get to church and even give an opportunity for caregivers to take a break, relax, and get some rest. We will also connect people with other ministries that will support them through this journey.

We Offer Counseling

We encourage both caregiver and patient through the many layers of grief experienced during a health crises. We provide faithful counseling through the challenges that may arise (i.e. unable to continue  working, hair loss, physical limitations, etc. ). We also facilitate conversations which allow both caregiver and patient to make decisions as we support them through that process.

"The ministry of Ambassadors of Hope personally benefited my family when my great niece Embry was hit by a truck. It was comforting to have someone to tell who cares and was praying. I was able to take her the Sonshine Basket, and beautiful quilt. It was a great opportunity to show God's love in a practical way to this family."

- Cheryl McAlister

"It is comforting to know that people care about us. You are not alone with the Ambassadors of Hope as they are always only a phone call away."

- Ramona Barbosa
